Rohrgewusel im Keller

In the technic room in the cellar it looks rather bombastic and complicated, but it isn't at all. The compact type of the construction is based on a mounting frame which takes up the pumps, slidegate valves etc.. For the storage and the technic installation (without expansion tanks and without the gas heater) you need a minimal floor space of less than 1,5 m2 (exactly: 1,02 m x 1,42 m). But  in cellars with low ceilings you have to pay attention for the storage while putting up during installation. Calculate first!
Frischwasserstation Here you can see the "fresh water station". This heat exchanger prepares fresh hot water (like an instantaneous water heater).

On the left side in the background the sloping connecting pieces to the buffer can be seen. Diagonally/sloping therefore, so that inadvertent warm water losses over convection are avoided as far as possible.

At the lower edge of this picture you can see the pumps for warm water and circulation.

The UVR1611 from "Technische Alternative" is the brain of this installation. You can easily use and program it by turning and pushing the scroll wheel. Different user modes prevent changes of important configuration parameters by accident. Some of them should be changed by an expert only.
This is the "Paradigma Modula II" gas heater with waste heat usage (4..20 kW). Once configured via the opened control panel there is no need to touch it again.

You can see the white plastic exhaust tube which is lead through the old chimney. Plastic is ok, because exhaust gases are at low temperatures. Condensing water has to be lead to the waste pipe.

If you don't have a waste pipe in the cellar, as we had, a bucket can only help for a short time. The bucket will be filled up by 10 l of condensing water within a day, if it is cold outside and there is a lot to do for the heater.

But I remembered that I had put two PE tubes into the screed, which lead to the "Pumpensumpf". So I only needed to chisel a small slot up to the PE pipe.
